Instead of waiting for a better alternative, we’re building one. This is our way of seizing the initiative: creating a new political home where we can come together, debate big ideas, and work toward a vision rooted in universal rights, freedoms, and opportunity—a more perfect union for all.

The All American

The All American is where we debate and promote ideas to propel the emerging vision of American Universalism and build our community. We bring a particular lens to the conversation as lifelong movement builders and strategists and feature leaders who can speak firsthand to the most effective ways to build a united front against authoritarianism.

How It Started

American Futures began early in 2024 when Ilyse, Seth, and Peter—feeling politically homeless themselves—came together around a shared conviction that something new was urgently needed if authoritarianism was to be defeated, and that millions of Americans were looking for a fresh movement space rooted in patriotism and universalist values.
